Sprinklers at Jennie Jerome Playground offer respite from hot temps

Posted: Updated:
MORRIS HEIGHTS -

Community members flocked to Jennie Jerome Playground in Morris Heights Wednesday to cool off in the park's sprinklers.

The day saw mostly cloudy skies, with temperatures around 91 degrees.

The city is encouraging people to stay indoors with air conditioners if possible and to stay hydrated.
