Cars crushed, trees knocked down during overnight storms in Monmouth County

People across New Jersey woke up to a ton of damage, including along a narrow path near Ocean Township and Long Branch.

People across New Jersey woke up to a ton of damage, including along a narrow path near Ocean Township and Long Branch.  
All the damage in the Oakhurst section on Greenbriar Road happened in less than a minute.
Dozens of trees were knocked down onto several roads, with all of them facing the northeast.  
Over on Teabury Lane, cars were crushed, wires were knocked down, and trees fell onto homes cutting into sheds.
One property had at least four trees down, with damage to fences.
There was also damage along Monmouth Road, Franklin Avenue and into Greenbriar Road.
The damage path continues northeast all the way to the beach.
