Uber’s Jump bikes are pedaling out of the Bronx

As one bike share program is expanding to the Bronx, another one is leaving.
Jump is an electric bike company run by Uber that gave riders easy access to renting a bike from almost anywhere.
Uber was running a pilot program for the bikes in the Bronx, which resdients and officials both agree was extremely successful. But it’s now coming to an end.
Council member Fernando Cabrera says the Jump bikes are being the expansion of Citi bikes.
Cabrera says he is upset the Jump bikes will be gone come Sept. 3, but he is hoping they reconsider.
