Police: Man robbed at knifepoint at East 149th Street station

Police say a man was robbed at knifepoint on a 6 train platform Saturday.

They say the incident happened at the East 149th Street station. Police say a 25-year-old man was waiting for the train when a man and woman approached him, pulling out a knife before taking his backpack.

The victim then tried to follow the two suspects, but police say he was met by three other men who took his phone, MetroCard, headphones and jacket before punching him and running off.
