A South Brunswick woman interrupted a burglar who was in her home Tuesday afternoon.
The woman stopped by her home on Heather Court for lunch only to find she wasn't alone.
News 12 was not able to speak with the homeowner in person, but he told News 12 over the phone his wife came home to have lunch, heard something and felt uneasy. That's when he says she checked the whole house, came out to the street, looked up and saw a man in her window.
The man allegedly escaped through the back door. Police say the man has a thin build, dark skin and was wearing a red shirt.
Police are asking anyone with cameras in the area to check recordings between 2 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. They say they're unsure where the man escaped to after leaving the home. Tips can be called into South Brunswick police.
