Posted: Updated:

Two suspects allegedly ambushed a man over a chain in Fordham, police say.

News 12 is told on Sept. 15, a 34-year-old man was exiting a subway station on Grand Concourse and East 182nd around 9:40 p.m.

Police say one man walked up to the victim and demanded cash. The victim resisted when, officers say, a gun was pulled out and used to threaten the victim.

Seconds later, one of the men removed the victim's gold chain and the duo fled.

Authorities have identified one of the suspects they want to question as 19-year-old David Krecmajer.

News 12 is told the victim wasn't hurt during the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
