Video released of El Charrito burglary suspect in Stamford

Video has been released of the man who tried to burglarize a liquor store and successfully stole from a restaurant in Stamford.
The suspect was caught on camera outside of BevMax on Oct. 11 around 5:50 a.m. on East Main Street, where he attempted to break into two different doors.
He was also caught on camera by a nearby restaurant, El Charrito, where he was able to break in through the back door with a prybar and steal the drawer from the cash register.

According to police, the man was wearing a blue baseball cap with a logo, gloves, jeans, white sneakers and two hoodies - one dark and one light colored.
The owner of El Charrito told News 12 that the suspect stole next month's rent and payroll.
