A President Trump effigy was spotted floating around the Gowanus Canal Tuesday.

No one knows where the floating effigy came from.

It was not the most flattering portrayal of President Trump, but community members did what most of people would have done - they took pictures and posted them online.

The effigy had green eyes, orange hands, and a raging facial expression - surrounded by snakes. The prevailing theory is that it is a public art display designed to conjure up conversation and attention in the neighborhood.
