An East Patchogue man is accused of DWI and hitting a pedestrian in Centereach overnight.

An East Patchogue man is accused of DWI and hitting a pedestrian in Centereach overnight.
Police say Robert Bickmeyer was driving on Portion Road when he hit a pedestrian in the bike lane and left the scene.
The victim, a 40-year-old man from Holbrook, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital. He was not seriously injured.
Bickmeyer will face a judge Sunday.
