Temperatures this Valentine’s Day were the coldest they have been in 2020 so far.
It may be winter, but temperatures have been much warmer for the first few weeks of 2020, with some days seeing temperatures in the 60s.
This was not the case on this Feb. 14, with high temperatures in the mid-30s and overnight temperatures expected to only be in the teens.
It was so cold today, that News 12 New Jersey’s Rebecca Granet went ice skating. Granet headed out to the skating rink at Pier Village in Long Branch, which was seeing heavy traffic due to the cold weather and the fact that it was Valentine’s Day.
The cold temperatures will continue into Saturday, before warming up again into the mid-50s by the middle of next week.
