Krispy Kreme is opening its long-awaited East Rutherford spot in early March, according to a published report.
The 3,200-square-foot store is located at Route 17 South in the Liberty Commons shopping center.
The location was originally supposed to open last fall, but was delayed.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
The location will be the first Krispy Kreme in Bergen County. The doughnut chain, which was founded in 1937, has three other New Jersey locations in Collingswood, Jersey City and Springfield.
Krispy Kreme is also starting a delivery service Saturday across the U.S., with some catches. Buyers will have to be near one of the 350 locations, and in most cases, 10 miles from a shop.
Orders can be placed on the Krispy Kreme app or website. There is also a $5 fee.
