Looking to qualify for the US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club? Here’s how.

UPDATE: Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the USGA has canceled local (first stage) qualifying for the 2020 U.S. Open.  While they are still holding the dates for the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Club, they USGA says it will decide about qualifying at a later date. "In conjunction with our Allied Golf Association (AGA) partners and International Federations, will look to redesign qualifying going forward as events unfold."
The most prestigious golf championship in the United States is once again coming to New York.
For the sixth time in its storied history, the 120th U.S. Open Championship will be contested at Winged Foot Golf Club (West Course) in Mamaroneck, from  June 18-21, 2020.

Online player registration for the 2020 U.S. Open will begin in the first week of March (https://champs.usga.org/index.html) and continue through Wednesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. EDT.
Local qualifying, which will be played over 18 holes at 108 sites in the U.S. and one in Canada, takes place between April 27-May 12.   Eight of those sites are in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut tri-state area:
