A South Bronx superintendent is helping elderly neighbors during the coronavirus pandemic by cooking homemade food for them. 

Michael Looch says he starts to prep in the morning for his lunch deliveries. He says every day there is something new on the menu. 

The superintendent cooks seven days a week for elderly tenants in his 500 Southern Blvd. building in Mott Haven. 

Looch makes homemade meals for about 50 senior tenants and delivers the lunches to each of their apartments. 

“We want to give them assistance for them to have a meal and prevent them from coming out,” says Looch. 

Looch says this is a way of showing that we are all in this together during the crisis. 

“I consider everybody my family. This is more than a job and in Puerto Rico every time there is a disaster we help each other,” says Looch.
