MOUNT HOPE - A group of Bronx foster children received some unexpected goodies today.

Children at the Graham Windham Child Welfare Agency were given duffle bags filled with stuffed animals, coloring books, hygiene kits and other items. The giveaway was sponsored by JetBlue and Together We Rise, a nonprofit group dedicated to the nation's foster children.

Organizers say these "sweet cases" will hopefully help recipients build self-esteem. They say foster kids usually move about five times before they find permanent homes and that they can now use their new bags to pack their belongings.
