THE BRONX - A nasty nor'easter is headed toward the tri-state area.
News 12 Meteorologist Mike Favetta says the storm will reach the borough by mid-afternoon Wednesday, with strong winds, high tides and snow.
The storm is not expected to be as bad as Sandy, but it will be a powerful coastal storm that causes more beach erosion. A coastal flood watch is in effect through 6:00 a.m. Thursday.
The roads are expected to clear up in time for Thursday morning's commute.
