Morris Park Flooring was closed for three months due to the coronavirus pandemic, but now it's open and hoping the community keeps supporting the neighborhood business.
"Three months I was closed, I didn't know what to do,” said owner Jimmy Lenzetta.
He says he reopened the store on June 22 and is happy to be back at work. Lenzetta has owned the store for eight years and thought he may have to close down for good due to the pandemic - until he was able to secure $100,000 in loans to pay for his rent and vendors.
He says that he believes the help of the community will keep him afloat.

"The customer comes into my store and they're looking for floor, I make sure they buy from me, if I have to go down on the price as I will,” said Lenzetta.
He says he is willing to beat any competitor's price, even Amazon. He is also offering gifts like candles, mugs and cards, as well as sheets and comforters.
Since reopening, Lenzetta has added a Plexiglas divider at the register for safety and says business has been promising.
The business is open every day except Sunday.
Masks are required, but the shop will supply one if customers don’t have one.
