EMS workers responded to a near-drowning incident at Coney Island Beach Saturday morning.
EMS at the event say they responded around 11:30 a.m. to the area and transported a person to the hospital.
It is unclear if the person was taking part in the ocean plunge.
Event organizers tell News 12 they are aware of the incident and that the victim is doing OK.
