A 106-year-old woman who told White House personnel it was her dream to meet a black president, danced with joy after meeting President Obama for the first time Sunday.
Virginia Mclaurin not only got to meet President Obama and the first lady, she got to dance with them.
In 2014, Mclaurin began a social media campaign to meet the Obamas.
She explained in videos online that she was so happy to see a black person in the nation's top job, and she mentioned that to the president on Sunday.
She showed her excitement by dancing.
Mclaurin was at the White House to celebrate Black History Month.
