Multiple bus passengers and drivers had to be freed from their vehicles after a multi-vehicle crash in Brooklyn Thursday night.
News 12 is told it was the aftermath of a race gone wrong just after 6 p.m. along East 87th Street and Avenue M.
News 12 is told three vehicles collided into one another on the residential street just off busy Rockaway Parkway.
The MTA bus involved pinned a car while bus riders remained inside. Witnesses say the person in that car is lucky to be free and alive.
Fire officials tell News 12 there were 12 people hurt in the accident, but that only two had to be taken to Brookdale Hospital.
Sources tell News 12 that none of their injuries are life-threatening.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
