The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to one of the largest in history at $1.25 billion.
No one has hit the top prize since April 18, so the pot of cash has just grown larger and larger since then. The chance of winning the money is 1 in 302.6 million, but that hasn't stopped New Yorkers from guessing the matching six numbers.

New York City resident Alice Solano said, "I definitely would like to give to my charity. I always donate to St. Jude's Hospital."
The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday at 11 p.m. Winners can decide to take annual payments or the lump sum of $625.3 million.
