Police are investigating after a 15-year-old was found dead shot to death in the Kingsbridge Heights section of The Bronx.

The FDNY says it happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at 2825 Claflin Ave. between W 197th St. and Reservoir Avenue. When crews arrived on scene, the NYPD says the teen was already dead with a gunshot wound to the head.

At this time, police do not have any information on if a firearm was recovered at the scene or if they are looking for any suspects in connection to the shooting. No arrests have been made yet.

The investigation is ongoing.
