17-year-old man shot in the chest on Snyder and Utica Ave. in East Flatbush

Police say a man collapsed to the ground after being shot in the chest in East Flatbush Monday. It happened on Snyder Avenue in front of a deli around 9 a.m.  Witnesses say gunfire erupted outside

Police say a man collapsed to the ground after being shot in the chest in East Flatbush Monday.
It happened on Snyder Avenue in front of a deli around 9 a.m. 
Witnesses say gunfire erupted outside of the business where a group of people had gathered.
They say the 17-year-old man who was shot attempted to run down the street, but eventually collapsed in front of a building on Utica Avenue.
Emergency responders say the victim was transported to Kings County Hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest. 
Police say the man is expected to be OK. 
Meanwhile, police are still looking for a suspect in the case.
