A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in Crown Heights late Wednesday night, police say.
Police say the shooting happened just before 9:30 p.m. near the corner of Rochester Avenue and Sterling Place. A gun was reportedly recovered at the scene, although it's not confirmed if that was the gun used to kill the 17-year-old.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but died shortly after arriving.
No word on the identity or location of a potential suspect.
