A two-alarm fire broke out in a Norwood apartment building Monday.
Fire officials say the fire started around 10 a.m. in a five-story complex building located at 74 Van Cortlandt Park. They say the flames spread to the fourth floor of the building, leaving windows shattered and debris falling onto the street.
Firefighters say they controlled the fire within minutes and that tenants living in the apartment were not home at the time.
Police say they believe the fire was caused by an electrical issue, but will continue to investigate.
Officials say no one was injured.
