Firefighters rushed to the scene of a two-alarm fire in Bedford Park early Saturday morning.
The fire broke out at a building on Briggs Avenue at around 12:15 a.m.
About seven or eight windows had to be smashed open after the fire started on the fifth floor of the building. Remnants of glass are still on the floor in the area.
The FDNY told News 12 over 100 firefighters were at the site of the fire. They got the situation under control at around 1:25 a.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, but damage was done to the building.
"My bathroom ceiling came down," said Kevin, a resident who lives on the third floor of the building. "Everything is destroyed and it was chaos out here last night."
