Two Brooklyn residents are giving back to their community in what they say is a small task that could make a big impact.

Keron Alleyne typically goes out and shovels for his neighbors. He casually mentioned it to Jibreel Jalloh right before Wednesday’s nor’easter.

“I was like, ‘why don’t we just put together a flyer, send it to seniors in the community that need this help, put together the flyer and put it out there,’” said Jalloh.

Soheir Hassan is one of nine households in the communities of East New York, Canarsie and East Flatbush, who immediately signed up.

A few blocks away, Ferrian Marrson enlisted help to ensure her grandmother, who lives with her, doesn’t fall. She is even more grateful the services come free of charge.

“Especially for the times we’re in,” she said. “Not many people can afford for a shoveling service to even come to help them.”

The team says it is strenuous, but worth it.

They also provided meals from collecting fare to those who wanted it.

The duo plans on giving back each time snow falls.
