5h agoReps. Ritchie Torres and Dan Goldman have filed a formal complaint with the House Ethics Committee against Rep. George Santos over allegations that he violated the Ethics in Government Act.
The watchdog group Campaign Legal Center has also filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against Santos over allegations that he violated campaign finance laws.
According to the Campaign Legal Center, Santos illegally used campaign funds for personal expenses and misrepresented campaign spending.
In its complaint, the group accuses Santos of concealing the true source of funds that he lent to his campaign.
