A car backed into a Parkchester fast-food establishment Tuesday afternoon, injuring the driver and another person.
The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. at the combination Burger King/Popeye's at 60 Metropolitan Oval.
Police say the female driver was attempting to park her vehicle and lost control while in reverse, hitting an SUV and striking a female pedestrian before backing up into the restaurant.
Witnesses say they heard a loud bang and saw the pedestrian stuck under the car for about a half hour.
Police say the driver and pedestrian were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition and were expected to be OK.
