2 more Catholic schools to close in June due to pandemic fallout

News 12 Long Island has learned two additional Catholic schools will be shutting their doors due to the pandemic.
St. Thomas the Apostle School in West Hempstead and St. Raymond School in East Rockaway will be closing their doors in June.
The Diocese of Rockville Centre says the impact of the crisis on families and communities has placed significant burdens on the already-struggling schools.
The schools are the fourth and fifth Catholic schools to close this year.
