Officials say two NYPD officers fired their weapons after a dispute with a man in East Flatbush Monday night.
Police say just a little before 8 p.m.,officers responded to a call about a person with emotional problems.
They say they found a man with a knife. Police say one officer fired his weapon, but that no one was hit by a bullet.
Since Christmas, there have been at least three police-involved shootings in the city and at least three other incidents of officers firing their weapons, including this one.
The 39-year-old suspect faces charges and two officers were sent to the hospital for evaluation.
