Two people were shot overnight in Fordham.

Police say that the incident happened just after midnight in front of 2561 Briggs Ave. A 27-year-old woman was shot in the back. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

A 42-year-old man was also shot in the right hand. He was taken to the hospital by private means and will also be OK.

No one has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
