Police say a man is dead following an overnight shooting at the intersection of Linwood Street and New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn.

According to authorities, the shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. and the shooter is still on the loose.

Cody Toledo, 33, was shot once in the chest and taken to a hospital where he died.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.
