NYPD: Man fatally struck by vehicle in Fordham

A 69-year-old man was struck by a vehicle and died along East Fordham Road, according to law enforcement.
The incident took place just before 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of E. Fordham Road and Southern Boulevard.
The NYPD says no criminality has been determined at this time and that the driver who struck the man remained on the scene. The victim was pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.
