NYPD: 2 teens slashed, 1 teen stabbed in Brownsville
Police say the 18-year-old was stabbed in the torso, and the 19-year-old and 17-year-old victim were slashed.

An 18-year-old man was stabbed and two other teen males, ages 19 and 17, were slashed in East New York on Tuesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
Police say the 18-year-old was stabbed in the torso and transported to Kings County Hospital. He was previously in critical condition but is now expected to survive.
The 19-year-old and 17-year-old victims are expected to be OK.
Officials say that the incident happened close to Brownsville Academy High School when a fight broke out on the sidewalk outside of the building.
The Department of Education confirmed to News 12 that this incident broke out during school dismissal, and officials say that all three people who were hurt in the incident were students at the school.
Nearby residents say they aren't surprised that this took place - and that it was only a matter of time.
"Every day since school has opened back up, right here, there's been a fight," said resident Bernadette Jones. "I could be walking outside and I could be walking with my grandchildren or anything, and they're running around acting crazy and wanting to fight and do all type of craziness. And what if one of them run up and hit one of the kids?"
Police were overheard at the scene attempting to locate the owner of a nearby parked Tesla, stating that the car's recording features could be potentially vital to the case.
The DOE provided the following statement in response to this incident:
“Violence has absolutely no place in our communities. NYPD, EMS, school staff and NYPD school safety agents immediately responded to this incident, which occurred off school property during dismissal. We are providing the necessary follow-up supports to this school community, including emotional and mental health supports for any student who needs it.”
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Police have not determined how many suspects they are searching for in connection to this incident at this time.
