Four Israeli American families made an emotion-filled appeal to the Biden administration to provide aid to their family members who are missing or were taken hostage during the ongoing attacks in Israel.

The families spoke openly about their loved ones at a press conference on Tuesday as they pleaded with the federal government to take action.

“Nobody since Saturday morning has been physically able to locate him, identify him and say that they saw him,” said one man from New York who’s missing son is a service member. “We are sure his heart is in the right place when it comes to Israel and the Secretary of State to do what they can to make this end for us as soon as possible.”

Red Cross officials are working to gain access to prisoners on both sides of the ongoing attacks and are actively seeking to connect hostages with their families.
