Halloween tradition of spooky decorations in Morris Park

The countdown is on to Halloween and a Morris Park home is ready to spook the neighborhood's trick-or-treaters.
From 12-foot grim reapers and giant skeleton animatronics, Terrance and Nicole Baker have spent months preparing for the spooky occasion.
"We've been here four years. A lot of the neighbors really didn't decorate but once we started doing it, you start to see houses that started to decorate as well," Terrance Baker says.
For the last four years, they have decorated their home with a new Halloween theme. This year, their front yard has transformed into a graveyard.
The Bakers say they love Halloween, but the decorations are to bring joy to the kids in their neighborhood.
"Seeing the kids dressed up, smiling and laughing, they come through, they get scared, taking pictures, we love it," he says. "We love seeing people smile, and lifting up the neighborhood, making everyone smile and enjoy our home."
The display can be found at 1615 Yates Ave. now through Halloween.
