Manhattan DA: Bronx man received 14 years in prison for 2020 bus attack

Police say 49-year-old Willie Gomez was convicted of assault in the first degree. Gomez stabbed a 58-year-old man in the head on a M100 bus.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office on Thursday announced a Bronx man was sentenced to 14 years in state prison for a brutal bus attack back in 2020.

They say 49-year-old Willie Gomez was convicted of assault in the first degree. Gomez stabbed a 58-year-old man in the head on a M100 bus.

He also stabbed a 44-year-old man in the leg back in May 2020.
