La Central YMCA showcases variety of activities during open house

The La Central YMCA in the Bronx hosted an open house on Saturday.
The organization offered a variety of activities for kids and their families, including arts and crafts, Zumba, kickboxing and swimming.
The La Central YMCA opened in late 2022, serving residents in the Bronx. Members have access to pools, steam rooms and saunas as well as unlimited fitness classes. Guests at the open house are eligible for the club’s winter offer which includes no joiner fee and one month free if you’ve joined for at least three months.
“The YMCA offers financial assistance, so we don't turn anyone away,” says Senior Program Director Nadia Arroyo. “All they have to is fill out the financial aid form.”
The La Central YMCA is open seven days a week.
