An FDNY lieutenant was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged for allegedly strangling an EMT in Crown Heights.

Officials say FDNY lieutenant Neal Francis, 47, is accused of strangling an EMT. The NYPD confirmed an argument escalated between Francis and the EMS worker.

News 12 was told the arrest happened near the intersection of Schenectady Avenue and Dean Street.

It’s unclear what the dispute was about and if there were any serious injuries.
