Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York hosted a free legal clinic for undocumented New Yorkers at Saint Luke's Church in Mott Haven.

The clinic was focused on helping all immigrants looking for legal help with their immigration status - from new arrivals to those who have been here for years.

Catholic Charities says this program is meant to guide people in the right legal direction. There were a dozen lawyers accompanied by paralegals and other law experts on hand to help each family and individual.

If you are undocumented and seeking legal help, you can call the NYS Office of New Americans Immigration Hotline at 1-800-566-7636 or head to the Catholic Charities website to see when it is hosting another clinic near you.
