Cardinal Spellman High School senior Jeremy Espinal is headed to New Jersey's Felican University this fall on a full scholarship.
The shortstop is a leader on the field and successful in the classroom, making the "First Honors" list at Spellman.
Espinal says when he's not playing baseball or studying, he tries to stay involved in school activities, including the school's stage crew.
He hopes to pursue business, following in the footsteps of his father who owns a series of tire shops.
