School might be out, but kids still need a place to go - whether they are being watched by a loved one or attending a camp.
A partnership between New York City Public Schools and the Department of Youth and Community Development is another option out there for kids this summer, and it is free.
Through enrichment programs, academic lessons and outdoor activities, students get everything they would get out of a day camp, plus they get to avoid the "summer slump," as Principal Yocasta Miller calls it.
