The Dominican community came out to the Bronx Zoo on Friday night as Bronx residents were honored for their community contributions.

This marks the third annual Noche Quisequenya, which honors five special New York Dominicans in the Bronx.

The event, hosted by Councilmember Rafael Salamanca Jr. and the United Bodegas Association of America, is about reminding the community how they can come together and honor culture.
