The NYPD has arrested a man in connection to a violent attack in Longwood that hospitalized a 29-year-old man this morning.
According to police, Wilfredo Arroyo, 44, faces charges of assault with intent to cause physical injury in the first, second and third degree.
Law enforcement officials say the victim was slashed in the face in the rear of a building located at 872 East 164th Street.
The relationship between Arroyo and the victim is not yet clear.
