His Inter-Miami squad visits New York City FC Saturday afternoon.

Businesses around the ballpark tell News 12 that soccer games haven’t delivered for them in the past, but they’re optimistic the big crowd expected for Saturday’s game could be different.

The Yankees average almost 42,000 fans a game this season, the last time NYCFC played at Yankee Stadium announced attendance was just more than 16,000.

Messi has never played a game in the Bronx before.

Saturday’s match-up is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
