A 17-year-old boy is in custody for bringing a weapon to school in Pelham Bay, police say.
According to authorities, the teen walked into Herbert Lehman High School with an airsoft pistol and caused serious alarm for students and staff.
This happened just before 10 a.m. No word was given on if he's a student of the school.
The teen is now being charged in the incident, which put the high school on lockdown. No injuries were reported.
