A Bronx man has been sentenced to 98 years to life in prison for kidnapping a woman and raping her over the course of four days in Kingsbridge.

Authorities say 45-year-old Timothy Harnett was found guilty by a jury in July.

The crime took place in April 2022, when he offered a 28-year-old woman money in exchange for sex.

He then took her to an abandoned building, beat her with a tire iron and raped her.

Harnett left the building four days later, according to authorities.

The victim escaped afterwards and waived a person down to call 911.
