2 men, woman injured when fight turns violent in Highbridge shooting

Police say a woman was injured after she was pushed to the ground during a violent robbery in University Heights.

According to police, the incident happened on Monday on West 183rd Street.

Police say a man walked up to the 69-year-old woman and pushed her to the ground, causing injuries to her lips and face.

The man then snatched her purse before taking off toward Davidson Avenue.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call police.
