Woman arrested after posing as student at Pelham Bay school

Police are searching for a man wanted for grand larceny on the subway last week in the South Bronx.

According to police, on Dec. 22 a 73-year-old woman was on the northbound 6 train approaching Saint Mary’s subway station on East 143rd Street.

That is when police say the suspect came up to her and snatched her phone before taking off.Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police.
