An 89-unit luxury apartment building in Riverdale is almost at full capacity, and News 12 was able to get an inside look into the space.
The Riverdale Tower has several indoor amenities, including a modern lounge with Wi-Fi, a TV, seating areas and a free coffee machine, as well as a state-of-the-art gym. The building also has outdoor seating, multiple grills and a pickleball court. There is also a roof deck where residents can host private parties.
In the lobby, there are two parking garages for tenants, a mail room and a secure package room, as well as a concierge during the day.
There are studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Studios start at $2,300 a month, one-bedrooms start at $2,900, and two-bedrooms start at $4,500. Seventy percent of the units are market rate, while 30% are affordable. Those who would like to rent one of the affordable units can apply through Housing Preservation & Development's housing lottery.
The building opened in June 2024, and it’s at 95% capacity.
